Principal's Message

My name is Jana Kelly and I am the Principal of Mirror Lake Elementary. I am so excited to join the Mirror Lake community this 24-25 school year.

About Me:

I have had the amazing opportunity of being a member of the Federal Way Public Schools team for the last 10 years and over 20 years in Education. During this time, I taught at Sacajawea Middle School, supported brand new teachers as a New Teacher Mentor, and was an Assistant Principal at Federal Way High School. I am so thrilled that I have had the honor to see where our students are going, and now get to be a part of their educational journey from the very beginning. I look forward to continuing to build on the work and learning that has been occurring at Mirror Lake, andam committed to fostering a culture of equity, collaboration, and continuous growth for all of our staff, scholars and families.

I look forward to the upcoming 2024-2025 school year where every student feels valued, supported and empowered to reach their fullest potential.  I am confident that together, we can achieve remarkable things.
