STEM Exploration Night Draws 3,600+ in Attendance
On Thursday, March 14, Federal Way Public Schools (FWPS) hosted the seventh annual STEM Exploration Night, attracting a record-breaking crowd of over 3,600. Scholars and families enjoyed STEM booths and special attractions including workshops, demonstrations, and more.

Mirror Lake Elementary, home of the Hawks, is located in Federal Way’s Mirror Lake neighborhood and serves grades K-5. Our community works together to create a caring, supportive, growth-oriented environment where individuals are valued. We facilitate life-long love of learning with recognition and respect for the diversity of others and the world around us. Our scholars benefit from participating in a wide range of school activities, extracurricular programs, and events. Rich partnerships with community members, parents, and businesses further enhance our scholars’ learning experience.
